WHO ARE
St. damiano onlus, been born by the meeting with the surgical clinic
Saint-damien of Ambanja in Madagascar, that sustains still, it promotes
every support activity of the projects of missionary cappuccini and
associations of volontariato that operate for the improvement of the
conditions of life of the populations of the south of the world.
St. damiano onlus is entirely compote of volunteers that with their support
and their job, they try to answer to the best of their abilities to the
demands of a less fortunate community. And as all the associations of
volontariato, it tries to reconcile to the best the intentions and the
dreams with the difficulty to retrieve the necessary funds to the purposes
that it is established.
St. damiano onlus from 2001, year of his/her birth, to today it counts
over 150 partners, you/he/she has effected more than 150 distance adoptions,
and it sustains, thanks to the contribution of many, missionary projects
for an amount of around 30.000 European the year.
The association is mainly busy to support of the clinic and various projects
of development and promotes activity and diversified forms of support,
through:
:: the distance his/her children's adoption.
Directly, through the clinic and the school, it sustains his/her children
in their growth and in their scholastic and professional education.
:: through the project for ambanja,
you/he/she is hocked in the realization of useful infrastructures to the
improvement of the existing structures or to the creation of new, from
wells, systems of unloading, roads,….
:: he hocks, it promotes and it sustains meetings, raced of formation,
lectures in the schools and any activities of exchange that can always
involve a greater number of people.
:: with various initiatives, lotteries, suppers, parties, concerts and
evenings of beneficence, it hocks him in the harvest of the essential
funds to the support of the clinic.
The association is founded on the meeting of the partners and on a directive
suggestion that is expression of it.
Inside the suggestion activity is submitted to the president and the single
advisers, responsible for the single projects that the association brings
before.
